Calibration

PCB Piezotronics Europe GmbH is accredited by the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkks), formally the Deutscher Kalibrier Dienst GmbH (DKD), member of ILAC MRA*. Our calibration services are offered in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for the calibration of accelerometers from the frequency range of 10Hz to 15kHz.

PCB Piezotronics Europe GmbH recommends to perform measurement tasks permanently precise, that it is necessary to calibrate the used measuring equipment on a regular basis. Calibration is the comparison of measurements of a test agent with the values of a precise reference in a documented procedure with the aim to detect and record deviations. Through the calibration of gauges the function and accuracy is checked and documented in the results report, also named calibration certificate. Repair or adjustment is not performed with a calibration. A preset number of times a calibration of the measuring equipment should be carried out does not exist.

PCB Piezotronics Europe GmbH recommends -from the quality point of view- an annual calibration. The regular calibration also serves as a confirmation of the suitability of the measuring equipment to ensure safe and accurate measurement results.

PCB Piezotronics Europe GmbH also offers in collaboration with the PCB Group Manufacturers of the products and with selected service providers extensive calibration services. These are carried out either as a factory calibration or calibration by an ISO 17025:2005 accredited laboratory.

Logistics

PCB Piezotronics Europe GmbH has a wide warehouse capacity in Hueckelhoven, Germany, usually more than 2500 items are stored, with permanently new incoming goods. A lot of orders can be shipped directly from our stock. Products not on stock in Germany but available in USA usually can be delivered in less than a week. Non-Stock-Products can be delivered in 3-5 working days after they are finished at the manufacturing.

In order to establish effective and modern risk management for customs handling the World Customs Organization has fixed the worldwide valid “Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade” (SAFE). This ensures a traceable international supply chain from the manufacturer of a product throughout to the final user.

PCB Piezotronics Europe GmbH, located in Hückelhoven, Germany, has obtained the AEO F certificate for security and simplifications in customs procedures from the main customs office in Aachen, Germany, and is thus officially been certified as an “Authorized Economic Operator”.
